HMS offers a variety of products and customer-tailored services. We supply:

• Steam Coal
• Coking Coal & Coke
• Anthracite, PCI Coal and others
• Wood pellets, wood chips and other biomass
• Iron ore – pellets, iron lumps, fines and other ores

Furthermore, we offer consulting services in the area of power plant design and construction, harbor planning and configuration, coal mine operation and on-site optimization of raw materials logistics.

LOGISTICS

Over the years HMS Bergbau AG has acquired extensive experience in the area of just-in-time logistics for its customers.

Sea freights: HMS charters sea going vessels and inland barges as required, handling 100 to 200 vessels every year.

Land transportation: HMS is able to organize logistics by barge, train or truck both in the supplier countries, such as Poland and Russia, and in most of the coal-consuming countries in Europe.

Many of our customers entrust HMS with providing logistics solutions, which may also include harbour operations, storage management and technical oversight.
